Shore Acres State Park
After seeing the garden, you can stroll down a trail to a secluded ocean cove at Simpson Beach or skirt the cliff’s edge to see spectacular ocean vistas which often include towering waves crashing against the shoreline after a storm and migrating grey whales. On the site of Simpson's vanished mansion, a fully enclosed observation building will allow you to view the ocean and protect you from the weather. Bandon Beach Riding Stables
Our North Beach Trip is all on the beach. Enjoy the tide pools, beautiful rocks and caves. 3 miles lasting about 1 hour. Rides leave at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Call (541) 347-3423 for more information.

Shoreline Education for Awareness
Shoreline Education for Awareness [SEA Inc.] is a local non-profit, formed in Bandon in 1990. SEA's mission is to provide education about the shoreline to increase people's awareness of the wildlife that lives there and its habitat. Every winter, SEA has a series of seminars designed to prepare Docents to provide this education. The seminars are taught by professionals, including Dr. Jan Hodder of Oregon Institute of Marine Biology, Dr. Steve Rumrill of the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve and Sharon Morse of the Bureau of Land Management. West Coast Game Park
