Bullards Beach State Park
Bullards Beach State Park is 2 mi. n. on US 101. The Coquille River Lighthouse is on the north jetty. It is reached by road through the day-use area and features an exhibit and tours. Park activities include camping, hiking, kite flying, beachcombing and bicycling. A horse camp, yurts (domed tents) and wildlife viewing areas are available; interpretive programs are presented in summer. Migrating gray whales can be seen from Face Rock Wayside. Coos Art Museum
Coos Art Museum is at 235 Anderson Ave. Local, regional, national and touring exhibits are featured. Collections include works by Frank Boyden, Alexander Calder, Red Grooms, Tom Hardy, Roy Lichtenstein, Henk Pander, Robert Rauschenberg and Larry Rivers. Shore Acres State Park and Botanical Gardens
